Amaretto, amarettos de mendula


PAT - Traditional Sardinian Agri-food Product recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, on the proposal of the Sardinia region.


Product description:
Soft sweets composed of sweet almonds (about 70%) and bitter almonds (30%), sugar, egg white and lemon peel, with varied shapes.

Methods of processing, storage and aging:
The processing is divided into the following phases:
- Weighing of ingredients;
- Grind the almonds and blend the ingredients with mixer;
- The dough is molded with round or oval shape and then placed on trays and bake.
- Cooking in electric furnaces at a temperature of 200 ° for 20 minutes;
- Packaging of the finished product (paper trays).
