Loro Ciuffenna (Tuscany) is a totally mountain municipality of 5.837 inhabitants, located at 330 meters above sea level in the Province of Arezzo, Its territory covers an area of 86,70 sq. km.
Ancient village, built on the high rock cut from the Ciuffena river, you can admire yet almost all of medieval architecture buildings in the characteristic "Fondaccio" gathered at the end of a Romanesque bridge dall'agilissima span.
Nearby the church of St. Peter in Gropina, one of the most important Romanesque churches in the Upper Valdarno.
The interior has three naves with capitals and pulpit decorated with sculptures of the highest interest.
A few kilometers away, the village of San Giustino Valdarno, formed around an old Romanesque church and Borro, a typical example of rural architecture of the Middle Ages.
